Terms of Service
These Terms govern your use of Keybloom (the “Service”), available at https://keybloom.app, operated by Langotalk Ltd (“we”, “us”). By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Service.
1. The Service
Keybloom is a browser-based piano learning application. It listens to a connected MIDI keyboard (or your computer keyboard), gives interactive lessons and feedback, and tracks your progress. Some features are free; others require a paid subscription (see Pricing).
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old, or the age of digital consent where you live, to purchase a subscription. Younger learners may use Keybloom with the involvement and permission of a parent or guardian, who is responsible for any purchase.
3. Subscriptions and payment
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Your purchase is also subject to Paddle’s Buyer Terms.
- Plans. We offer monthly and yearly subscriptions at the prices shown on our Pricing page and at checkout. Taxes may be added depending on your location.
- Automatic renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period at the then-current price until you cancel.
- Cancellation. You can cancel at any time through the link in your Paddle receipt email or at paddle.net. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you keep access until then.
- Price changes. We’ll give you reasonable advance notice of any price change, which applies from your next renewal. If you don’t agree, you can cancel before it takes effect.
- Refunds. See our Refund Policy.
4. Free access
We may offer some lessons and free play without charge. We may change what is included for free at any time.
5. Your device and data
Your lesson progress is stored in your browser on your device. If you clear your browser data or switch devices, your progress may not carry over. See our Privacy Policy for details.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to copy, resell, reverse-engineer or redistribute the Service; not to interfere with or disrupt it; not to circumvent payment or access controls; and not to use it for any unlawful purpose.
7. Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design, artwork, music and text, is owned by Langotalk Ltd or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service for your own learning while your access is active.
8. Availability and changes
We work to keep Keybloom available and improving, but we don’t guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may update, change or discontinue features. If we discontinue the paid Service entirely, we’ll refund the unused portion of any prepaid subscription.
9. Disclaimer
Keybloom is an educational tool. Progress depends on practice, and we don’t guarantee any particular result. To the extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is”.
10. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your statutory rights as a consumer.
11. Termination
You can stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you seriously or repeatedly breach these Terms.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we’ll give notice on this page or in the app before they take effect.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the country in which Langotalk Ltd is incorporated. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you may bring proceedings in your local courts.
